On January 31th, 2009 - we had a big 75th wedding anniversary party for our grandparents. We had over 200 people come and celebrate with grandpa and grandma. It was wonderful.
Now as we look back - we are so glad that our Aunt organized this party. Grandpa died on 2/11/09 and grandma soon followed on 2/22/09. We will miss them but we know they are much happier where they are now.
i so wish we could've been there for their party! but i'm glad they had a chance to celebrate 75 years with so many friends and family. what a blessing for them both to not have to be apart that long! We will sure miss them!
ReplyDeleteWe aren't doing a very good job of training that hamster, unfortunately... He doesn't bite much, though, so that's good.
